Dodder Park in August – heron holds his own

Walking early every morning, well nine-ish, is wonderful these balmy August mornings. The beauty blows away, for about three quarters of an hour anyway, those petty worries that aren’t really that important. Heron Dodder Aug IMG_0055Sometimes it’s a chance to listen to podcasts, audiobooks or music. Others, it’s space to sort out the plot or characters in the latest novel, or just what we’re going to have for dinner for the rest of the week.
